The aesthetic of the London bookshop translated online, without giving up a full online shop.

Claire de Rouen had a detailed design plan and an imminent opening but no platform capable of supporting it.

Translating such a well-defined editorial aesthetic into a fast and reliable online shop required a theme built from scratch, not an adaptation. We developed a custom Shopify theme, featuring a comprehensive catalogue organised by categories and tags, native search, a shopping basket, checkout and gift cards — all fully responsive on desktop, tablet and mobile.

The result: an online shop that was up and running on opening day.
